FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
We will use any combination of treatments below to best address your health concerns & goals:
What is a typical treatment like?
First you meet with Dr Gaeta to complete your health history, and discuss your needs and goals. He will make an evaluation, discuss how we can best help you, and create an individualized treatment plan for you. This includes specific therapies to use, estimated number of visits, costs, your responsibilities, etc. In subsequent visits we discuss your progress and work together to create the next steps. The effects of our treatments and the lifestyle changes we encourage are cumulative and long-lasting, as long as you do your part in creating new diet and lifestyle habits, and taking your nutritional and herbal supplements.
Do you accept my insurance?
The Gaeta Clinic does not accept insurance as payment. Ask your insurance carrier if it will reimburse you for our services. We will give you a statement that you can send in to them to receive reimbursement. Many of our patients have been at least partially reimbursed for their treatments here. We believe that healthcare should be affordable, without dependence on insurance coverage. We emphasize effective, low-cost natural therapies, and the prevention and early treatment of illness. If you have financial concerns, discuss them with us.
Do I need a doctor's prescription to come in?
No. However, for purposes of insurance reimbursement, a physician’s prescription may be helpful.
Where is the Gaeta Clinic Location?
Our Clinic is at a home office in North Boulder. The Address will be included in your appointment confirmation email.

This is another clinically-proven way to improve mitochondrial (energy) production, circulation and collagen formation (tissue repair). The light device Dr Gaeta uses in the clinic, in conjunction with acupuncture, Asian bodywork and PEMF therapy, combines both red and near-infrared in an LED panel. You can also obtain a device for daily home use.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, and we are able to fill that appointment time, there will be no charge. If not, there will be no charge the first time. After that, the normal fee will be charged. If an appointment is forgotten (a patient does not come or call) there will be no charge the first time. After that, the normal fee will be charged.
How often do I need to come in?
People who are healthy to begin with, and those who have reached a state of good health by working with us, come regularly (once every 1-3 months) for maintenance or wellness care—a “tune up”.
Your treatment plan will be discussed with you at your appointment.
What if I just have some health questions?
If you would not like to have a complete new patient evaluation, and simply would like your questions answered for yourself, or get insights on one of your patients, Click “Phone or Video Consultation” below, then select Phone Consultation for Patients, or Phone Consultation for Clinicians.
I don't really have any health problems. Can I just come in to relax?
Absolutely. Since stress is a key factor in most dis-ease, coming in for a relaxing bodywork, acupuncture & light therapy treatment is valuable for promoting and maintaining health. We tailor each treatment to your needs. If your goal is to relax, we can certainly help. You do not need a health problem to come in.
People who are healthy to begin with, and those who have reached a state of good health by working with us, come regularly (once every 1-3 months) for maintenance or wellness care—a “tune up”. Facial rejuvenation with acupuncture and light therapy is also available. It is easier and cheaper to stay healthy than it is to get sick and recover. We emphasize prevention—the promotion of health—and early treatment as keys to enjoying life and manifesting one’s highest potential.
What is my responsibility when I come for treatment?
It would be nice to hear, “Just come in and we’ll fix you.” Lasting change requires work on your part also. A big part of our job is helping people to help themselves and redirect their lives in a positive way. We can help you live a healthier, more fulfilling life. See us as a guide and coach that helps you find balance, vitality and wellness.
